  1. in my opinion i think that what they are doing is the right thing to do so we will not feel sick about it. I agree with what the say about the different genetics they put in the food.

  2. Thousands of years ago, people modified their food sources in order to make them healthier or easier to eat. Today, farmers and scientists modify foods in ways that aren't necessary but are very helpful. Some of these modifications are not humane and can cause problems later on for both the animal/plant and us humans.

    2. Good start Sloane. You could add to this by giving examples of why you don't think that animals should be tampered with.

  5. GMO's are ok if they are used correctly. If they are used to give bigger yields and are well taken care and quarantined from other plants. Also not bother neighbors and other farmers using different seeds.

    1. Zane, great start. You bring up some very valid points that you will have to investigate as we proceed. As we go forward, try to find examples of some of these points.

  6. Thousands of years ago people would mate the plants together to try to get the type they want. Now and days people just add a gene to them. Such as tomatoes people want to have tomatoes that will not freeze so they add a gene from a flanders fish which allows them not to freeze in the cold.

  7. i think that food should be genicly modified to make it better and more edibatal. i think that animals should not be tampered with because they are living breathing beings.

    1. I agree with you in both ways, but something to think about is what the modifications can potentially do to us if the procedures are properly done, or with cases like the Round-Up incident.

  9. About thousands of years ago farmers cross bread plants to make them better. Today all they have to do is take dna from one plant and put it in another plant to make them better. I think that it's ok in some ways

  10. I don't like the idea of glowing pigs and and humans milk from cows
